The Victa Jet is what got me into collecting 40 years ago my grandfather owned one and dad and i would grab it put it on a 10ft tinny and catch hessian bags full of fish, this was an era that we ate what we caught and it didn’t matter how we got there.

Over the years into my teens i would grab the motor and off id go, it must be said they are a horrible outboard slow, noisy but reliable and better that rowing.

So you can imagine my delight when i came across this Victa Jet still in its box never opened.
